Our PRP for Hair Loss Technique
PRP therapy is an outpatient treatment performed at both of our offices in San Antonio, TX. First, we will take a blood sample, which is spun through a centrifuge to separate platelets from the rest of the blood components. Next, the concentrated platelet-rich plasma is injected into the portions of your scalp that are thinning. Most of the time, patients do not experience downtime after PRP therapy. You may have some minor redness, swelling, and tenderness for up to 48 hours.
