Meet Dr. Jean-Denis Boucher, MD, FAAC
Dr. Jean-Denis Boucher is the founder and owner of Lone Star State Dermatology Clinic and a distinguished board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. A graduate of the University of Montreal Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Boucher completed his dermatology residency at McGill University Faculty of Medicine in Montreal, Quebec — one of Canada’s most respected academic medical institutions.

Meet Derek De Leon, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC
Derek De Leon is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology, bringing over a decade of diverse clinical experience to the Lone Star State Dermatology Clinic team. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington with a focus on the adult-gerontology population, and later completed a postgraduate dermatology fellowship through Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
Before transitioning to dermatology, Derek spent more than eight years as an intensive care nurse and subsequently served as a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine at a Level 1 trauma center — experience that has given him an exceptionally broad clinical foundation. Derek is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every patient, regardless of background, ensuring that each individual feels respected, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their visit.
